Johanna

Johanna started running in 1996 as stress relief from her work researching human rights violations and war crimes. All that travel messed with her training, so she hung up her passport and now obsesses about running shoes while ever-so-slowly gut renovating a Brooklyn row house with her husband and dog, Enzo.  She's completed a couple marathons and a bunch of half marathons, but got infected with the triathlon bug after doing the JackRabbit triathlon training program in 2005.  When not nursing sprained ankles or other dumb injuries, she sometimes places in local races when the fast girls don't show up.
